Become a Kid Librarian at Nesmith Library!
Hey kids! Calling all lovers of stories, adventures, and everything in between! This is your chance to become a real-life librarian at Nesmith Library! Yup, you read that right!
We're on the look out for a super awesome Kid Librarian to join our team for an adventure!
What is a Kid Librarian, you ask?
As Kid Librarian, you'll get to be the voice of young readers like yourself! ️ You'll help us create a super-duper cool book display, filled with your favorite reads to recommend to other kids your age. This is your chance to show everyone your favorite books and show them hidden gems they might have missed!
But that's not all! Here's what else awaits our new Kid Librarian:
- A behind-the-scenes tour of the library! Ever wondered where all the books go at night? (Spoiler alert: they don't go anywhere, but we have some pretty cool secrets to share!)
- Your name and picture on a limited-edition bookmark! Everyone will know you're the library's official book whiz!
- And more!
How to Apply? It's Easy Peasy!
Convinced you're the perfect fit? Awesome! Here's how to apply:
- Ages: This super cool opportunity is open to kids between 5 and 12 years old.
- Application Dates: Mark your calendars! Applications open on April 1 and close on April 30. Don't miss out!
- The Fun Part! We want to see your creativity shine! You can fill out our application using a fancy Google Form (grown-ups can help you with this part if needed). But here's the best bit: you can also submit a written response, a drawing, or even a short video telling us why you'd be the best Kid Librarian ever! Let your imagination run wild! The more creative, the better!
