Stand out in the college admissions process: It’s never too early to start planning!


Join us at the Nesmith Library on Monday, March 23 at 6:30pm for a free Q&A session with College Admissions Counselor, Nancy Steenson.  Middle and high school students and parents are welcome. Topics to be covered will include:

*Merit scholarships vs. Financial Aid

*How important are extracurriculars? Do I need to be well-rounded?

*Writing powerful college essays that get noticed

*Strategies to increase chance of admission at selective schools

*What you need to know about standardized tests

*Recommendations – who to ask, when to ask, what to ask

We also recommend high school students working on funding their college plans check out the FLOW Annual Scholarships, with applications due by April 1. Consider attending Informational Sessions March 15, 2 PM and March 18, 6:30 PM!
