Busy Bees Baby Storytime

No registration necessary / Age: 0-18 Months, with Caregiver

We’re introducing a whole new storytime just for your little ones! This will be a special baby lapsit for ages 0-18 months with a caregiver. The program is designed to help teach and promote early literacy skills for caregivers and children. We will sing songs, read and play! We also hope to give caregivers a chance to meet other caregivers in their community.

Hogwarts

Registration Required / Ages: 7-11 Years

The Nesmith Professors request your presence in Potions class where we will teach you how to bottle fame, brew glory and … Well, not actually those things, but Hogwarts has come to Nesmith! Each month we will be ‘brewing’ different potions in the form of STEAM and art activities. Please call the library at (603) 432-7154 or visit the library to register.

Soothing Santa

Imagine a parent who would like to offer a child with sensory issues the opportunity to take part in a typical pre-holiday activity--visiting with Santa. A trip to the mall, with its lights, sounds, crowds, just won't work. Sensory processing problems are commonly seen in children with developmental conditions like autism spectrum disorder.

Pumpkin Patch Party

No registration necessary. For All Ages.

Please join us on Saturday, October 26, between 1:00 and 3:00 PM for a Halloween family event.  Crafts, food, literature, and games will be enjoyed by all.  Come dressed in your costume for some spooky fun!

Frankenstein Take Home Craft Starts

This is a drop in craft, with all materials and instructions available in the Childrens Room from Thursday, October 24 through Thursday, October 31. Stop by the Children’s Area and make your own Frankenstein Sun catcher the week before Halloween! All supplies and instructions are provided, so you can craft when it’s convenient for you. Give one as a gift or use them as your Halloween decorations.
