The White Mountain: Rediscovering Mount Washington's Hidden Culture

Over the course of one calendar year, journalist Dan Szczesny explored the history and mystique of New England’s tallest mountain. But Mount Washington is more than just a 6,288-foot rock pile; the mountain is the cultural soul of climbers, hikers, and tourists from around the world looking to test their mettle against some of the most extreme conditions in return for a chance to be inspired by some of the most intense natural beauty.

Paper Crafting - 3D Note Cards

Professional crafter, Pam White, will be helping us to explore our creative side as we use rubber stamps, colorful inks and pencils, and special techniques to transform plain note cards into works of art! All supplies will be provided. Pam has been an Independent Demonstrator for Stampin’ Up for the past 16 years and has taught many classes. She has also sold her creations at craft fairs, and truly loves sharing her talents with others! This free program is for Nesmith Library card holders only (ages 16 and up), and registration is required.
