Historian and author, Glenn Knoblock offers a fun and engaging look at the historic and unusual weathervanes found on New Hampshire's churches, town halls, and other public buildings from the earliest times to the present. His presentation “New Hampshire on High: Historic and Unusual Weathervanes of the Granite State,” explores the history, practical usage, symbolism, and manufacturing of these beautiful weathervanes.

Tour of Fidelity's Corporate Art Collection in Merrimack

There is never a shortage of good ideas at Fidelity. To help cultivate these ideas, create a stimulating work environment, and expose employees to original works of art, Edward C. Johnson III took the innovative step in 1980 of hiring an in-house curator to manage and enlarge a burgeoning art collection. For close to forty years, the collection has grown to keep in step with the expansion of Fidelity's services, locations, personnel, and customers.

Stained Glass Mosaic Tile Trivet Craft!

Kitri and Leslie from Ways of Color are back with another fantastic stained glass craft! We'll be making tile trivets, and because of the hands-on grout application, be sure to wear your grubby clothes and shoes.

4th of July Garland Craft!

Feeling crafty? On Thursday, June 20th we will be creating patriotic-themed garlands just in time to decorate for the 4th of July! Using paper stars, we will distress them so they look like tin, and then string them on twine to complete the project. This program is for ages 16 and up, and space is limited. Preserving Your Harvest: The Basics of Food Preservation Safety

Rescheduled from June 5th!

Have you ever thought about preserving or drying foods but were afraid of making your family ill with food poisoning? Join us on Monday, August 5th at 6pm when Ann Hamilton, Food Safety Field Specialist at the UNH Cooperative Extension, talks about food preservation safety. In this introductory class, Ann will cover the latest research-based methods and recipes, and share her knowledge about preserving food safely at home. She will also discuss using boiling water canners, using pressure canners, and freezing and drying food.

Painting Glass Vases Craft

Just in time for Mother's Day! Join us as we use matte paint to transform plain glass vases into on-trend decor. All supplies will be provided, and space is limited. Wear grubby clothes and dress for the weather, as we'll be working outside.

Paper Craft - Spring-Themed Bookmarks!

 Spring has sprung (well, almost) and we're welcoming it in by creating Spring-themed bookmarks! We'll be crafting with colorful paper cutouts of flowers, birds, and other sunny things to make our bookmarks really sing. All supplies will be provided.
