Borrow ebooks and digital audiobooks. CloudLibrary makes it easy to discover the content you want to read. Whether on your browser, a tablet, or your smartphone, you can browse digital shelves curated by librarians, or filter by genres of interest to you. CloudLibrary is a service provided by the GMILCS consortium (originally funded with a Samuel P. Hunt Foundation Grant). There is no monthly limit for borrowing, but you may only have six (6) items checked out at a time. Items are not always available, so you may need to place a hold (we purchase digital copies which are checked out and returned by one patron at a time).

With your up to date Nesmith Library card, you will be able to download or stream books, audios, music, and movies to your smartphone or other device, or, to your computer. Each library card can borrow up to five (5) items each month. All content is immediately available, so there are no waiting lists!

OverDrive provides a great browser and mobile experience with the Libby app: visit your app store to download Libby on your device, or use the classic NHDB OverDrive interface through your browser! NoveList Plus makes recommendations for what to read next. All the recommendations include an explanation as to why a particular selection might be appealing to the reader. NoveList Plus contains descriptions and recommendations for both fiction and narrative, nonfiction titles, and is appropriate for all ages from the youngest readers to adults. Additionally, NoveList Plus includes book discussion guides, thematic book lists, and reading and book oriented articles. Book groups and teachers will find these resources especially helpful.
This database holds the electronic versions of our Salem Press reference materials. Included in the collection are books on literature, history, science, health, and careers, with titles includingThe 50 States, Forensic Science, Adolescent Health and Wellness, Magill's Literary Annual, Defining Documents in American History, Great Events from History, and Great Lives from History.
