Sample Rocks!

 

First the children had to lightly sand their rocks.
Next, they painted them with a light coat of Gesso and patiently waited for the coating to dry.
Some children drew a design in pencil first, and others painted their designs free-hand.

 

 

All of them listened very quietly to the directions, and followed them with care.
