Summer Reading Program Kick-Off Party ~ June 23rd - PHOTOS!
Drop in anytime between 1:00-3:00pm ~ ALL AGES
Stop by for five minutes or an hour as you register for the Summer Reading Program, grab a snack, and make a craft. Registrants that day will receive two special entries for separate raffles to win a Kendall Pond Pizza certificate or two tickets to Story Land!
Steve Blunt will be our special guest as he performs his funny, heartfelt, and engaging songs. This performance is made possible by the Friends of the Library of Windham.

If you cannot make it to the library on June 23rd, please note that registration will continue throughout the summer. Register for the Summer Reading Program at the Nesmith Library and learn more about the fun programs planned for the summer and the fantastic prizes. No registration required for this event.

Independence Day Take-Home Craft ~ July 1st and 2nd
Celebrate the 4th of July and pick up a craft kits at the front circulation desk while supplies last
Weekly Worldwide Whereabouts! ~ Beginning July 6th
Beginning July 6th, our SRP Mascot will be on display in the Children’s Room. Watch for new clues each week throughout the summer to guess where in the world our mascot has wandered. Correctly identify the location of the mascot somewhere in the world and receive a raffle ticket to win the SRP Mascot and other prizes.

Create one of our fun summer crafts. These crafts are recommended for children ages 4 and up - accompanied by an adult or guardian. Crafts available while supplies last.

Local author Christopher Ouellette will read the story he wrote with his daughter Eowyn!
Following the reading, there will be a skunk craft, black & white snack, and book signing!

World Class Frisbee Show and Playshop ~ July 14th
11 am - Ages 8 and up
Frisbee Freestyle World Champion, Todd Brodeur, will lead the group in a demonstration followed by a hands-on clinic.

The whole family is invited to an outdoor party celebrating a summer of reading! Don’t miss this amazing summer celebration and entertaining show held outside on the library grounds. Grand prize raffle winners will be drawn for tickets to Canobie Lake Park and StoryLand. After the performance, ice cream sundaes will be provided by F.L.O.W., the Friends of the Library of Windham. In the event of bad weather, the program will be moved to inside the library.
