Summer Reading Program 2009
Fun activities for children of all ages!
Kick back and relax at the library and participate in our summer reading program. Stop by to enjoy some of our many programs offered, plus guessing contests, mascot trivia, drop-in crafts, and much more.

Guessing Contest Winners!
The Nesmith Library Summer Reading Program is for children of all ages. Read for the fun of it and receive raffle tickets for some great prizes. The more you read, the more chances you have to win! To register for any of the summer programs, simply stop by or call the library at 432-7154. Please note that registration for a program begins two weeks PRIOR to the program event.
Kick-Off Party for everyone!
Thursday, June 25, 1-3 pm
Stop by for five minutes or an hour as you register for the Summer Reading Program, grab a snack, and make a craft to help us decorate the Children’s Room.
Registrants that day will receive two special entries for separate raffles to win a Kendall Pond Pizza or two tickets to Story Land!
If you cannot make it to the library on June 25th, please note that registration will continue throughout the summer.
Register for the Summer Reading Program at the Nesmith Library and learn more about the many great programs planned for the summer and fantastic prizes including tickets to Canobie Lake Park, NH Fisher Cats, Santa’s Village, Story Land, & Water Country. No registration required.

Create one of our fun summer crafts. These crafts are recommended for ages 4 and up and accompanied by an adult or guardian. Crafts available while supplies last.

Pizza & Movie
Night

If you are 8 years of age or older, chill out with us for
a movie night at the library!
Arrival time and pizza from 5:30-6:30pm
Movie show time from approximately 6:30-8:00pm.
For movie title or more information, please call the library at 432-7154. Space is limited, and registration is required beginning June 29th.
Ronald McDonald’s “Read, Play, and Win”
Tuesday, July 14th, 10:30am
Ronald McDonald will appear, live and in person, to present
a half hour show of music, magic, and a reading adventure.
This program is for children ages 3 and up, and is a great
opportunity to have your child photographed with Ronald McDonald.
Bring your cameras!

Paws to Read! Wednesday, July 15th, 1:00pm Is your child uncomfortable or shy about reading out loud? Come to an information session with New England Pet Partners, Inc. and learn more about Reading Education Assistance Dog Teams. Parents and school age children welcome to attend. Registration preferred, but not required.

Toe Jam Variety Show features interactive songs, stories and puppets. After the performance, ice cream sundaes will be provided by F.L.O.W., the Friends of the Library of Windham.
