Nesmith Library Quilters

Whether you are an experienced quilter or new to the craft, we encourage you to attend a meeting and join the fun.  The meetings are scheduled on the first and third Fridays of the month at 12:30. History of the Nesmith Library Quilters :  In the 1980’s there was an active group of quilters who gathered weekly at the Nesmith Library.   Each year, this group would design and complete a beautiful quilt.  When the quilt was completed, a raffle was held, and the winner of the raffle received the quilt.  Proceeds from the quilt raffle benefited the library and other educational groups. In 2009, Susan Lenzi revived the group, much to the delight of the winners of the beautiful quilts, and of a grateful Nesmith Library and their patrons who have benefitted from their generosity.
