The Nesmith Quilters are up and running again for the 2010-2011 Season!
Whether you are an experienced quilter or new to the craft, we encourage you to attend a meeting and join the fun. The meetings are scheduled on the first and third Fridays of the month at 12:30. History of the Nesmith
Library Quilters : In the 1980’s there
was an active group of quilters who gathered weekly at the Nesmith Library.
Each year, this group would design and complete a beautiful quilt. When the
quilt was completed, a raffle was held, and the winner of the raffle received
the quilt. Proceeds from the quilt raffle benefited the library and other
educational groups.
