cultural, and recreational library materials and services in a variety of formats and
technologies; to be responsive to the public library needs of the community; and to
support the principle of intellectual freedom as a foundation of a free society. ~

If your Internet Browser does not support this form, simply click
here to Ask a Question.
The staff of the library will do its best to help you find the answers to your information
needs. These may range from the NADA Used Car Guide to resources for your next research paper. If we cannot find the answer for you here, we will try other sources including the New Hampshire State Library. Often patrons are surprised at the number of resources available right here in their own public library.
If you're a World Wide Web user, you may want to try some Search Engines
included in this homepage. Many library homepages offer "favorite WWW sites."
try the Nesmith Library's list. The New Hampshire State Library's Best of the Internet offers many reliable links.
When you use the Internet for information, keep in mind the author or creator of the
information (is it authoritative, reliable?), and note the most recent update if available.
InterLibrary Loan
If the title you want is not available at the Nesmith Library, you may request the item to be
loaned from another library. Just leave your request at the Circulation desk. Keep in mind
that your book may not arrive for several days to a few weeks. Usually the wait is short if
the book is available in New Hampshire. Please let us know is you have time for an
"out-of-state" search, which we are happy to do, but which may take several weeks.
