The Book Fair will begin at the Nesmith Library (on Fellows Road off of Rte 111 in Windham) with the Preview Sale (for F.L.O.W. members, Windham teachers and Windham seniors) on Wednesday, May 30th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. This annual kick-off event is the PERFECT time to head to the library and be among the first patrons to look through and purchase books and other items! If you are not already a Friends member, plan to join that night to get the first opportunity to shop at our Book Sale. Seniors will also enjoy a 25% discount on all items purchased on Wednesday.
The general Book Fair will run Thursday, May 31st and Friday, June 1st at the Nesmith Library Multi-Purpose Room and then will join the Strawberry Festival at Windham High School on Saturday, June 2nd. The following are the hours and location:
Thursday, May 31st from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Nesmith Library)
Friday, June 1st from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Nesmith Library)
Saturday, June 2nd from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m (Strawberry Festival at WHS)
GAME BRACELETS -- $5.00 (children ages three and under)
$7.00 (children four and older)
For this low price children can enjoy unlimited games and inflatables throughout the Festival as well as receive many prizes.
The games area will be open from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Outdoor Festival games will include Strawberry Toss, Treasure Hunt, Lollipop Tree, Gone Fishing and Hoopla. Inflatable adventures (located in the gymnasium) will include old favorites like Obstacle Course, Basketball, Speed Pitch, Hoverball and Bounce Houses.

Bring home a souvenir 4x6 photo of your day at the Strawberry Festival.
FACE PAINTING AND SAND ART FUN !
And don’t forget to participate in the STAR BERRY HUNT!
First Aid Services and our Mother's Quiet Room will join balloon animals inside Windham High School.
All of the designs submitted by our young artists from our Design Contest will deck the halls of the High School Atrium.

The Festival will be emceed by DJ Brian Guessetto. Performances marked with an asterisk will be held outside.

It would not be the Strawberry Festival without HOMEMADE STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKES for the adults

Head outside for lawn seating as
Local Celebrity Chefs will be grilling hot dogs, hamburgers and sausages at the “Chuck Wagon” Grills.
Glen’s Cone will be on the lawn and have tasty treats for the children including cotton candy, slushies, fried dough, pretzels and fresh squeezed lemonade.
Feeling LUCKY??!! Raffle tickes are $1 per ticket, or $10 for 15 tickets!
