Nesmith Library Calendar of Events 18 April 2008, Friday Homeschooling Program Time: 2:00pm - 3:30pm Location: Nesmith Library Audubon Society presents Measuring Nature. Students will use their measurement skills to set the pace, measure a tree and determine its value, conduct a plant survey, and test the weather, all with a focus on mathematics. Please wear weather appropriate shoes and clothing. This program is going to be focused on kids ages 6-12, however, please feel free to sign up siblings ages 3-5 since it will still be fun and they may be able to participate in some of the activities. Since we will be gallivanting in the woods outside, a parent needs to attend the program with their child(ren). When you sign up, please include your children's first names, ages, and your phone #.
